Trade and professional licenses

Your business will probably need government licences and permits before it can start. The Business Licence Information Service (BLIS)  is a free service run by the Office of Fair Trading. It simplifies the process of finding out what licences are needed and which forms to complete.

Tradesperson’s certificate

A certificate of recognition as a tradesperson is issued by an Australian apprenticeship authority.  It is obtained for a person who has served the requisite apprenticeship
