Getting to Penrith Valley is easy.

Car

The M4 Motorway and the Great Western Highway both run east/west and lead to Penrith Valley. Connect to these roads from the south on the Northern Road (Metroad 9) and north off the M2 Freeway. The M7 also provides easy access to the M4 from the south and north enroute to Penrith. Before you embark on your journey you’ll need a map.

Train

Timetable details for trains to and from Penrith and various suburbs within Penrith Valley can be accessed through the Western Train Line Timetable and the Blue Mountains Line Timetable. Check out the map of the Sydney Cityrail network to help you plan your journey. Penrith has daily direct rail services to and from the major cities and towns of Central West NSW. Visit the Countrylink website for information about timetables and fares.

Local Buses

Westbus provides public transport to, from and around Penrith Valley. For information, visit the Westbus website or call (02) 9890 0000 for go to the Transport Infoline timetable information and use the bus timetable search. Blue Mountains Bus Company provide services west of the Nepean River, phone (02) 4751 1077 or visit the Blue Mountains Bus Company website for details and timetables.

Taxi's

You can book a taxi with Premier Cabs on 13 1017 or with Legion Cabs on 13 14 51.

Bikes

It’s easy enough to get around town on a bike. Travel at your own pace and enjoy the cycling track around the Sydney International Regatta Centre at Penrith. Cityrail allows you to take bikes on trains at no extra charge outside peak hour. If you dont have your own, you can hire a bicycle by contacting Horizon Line at the Sydney International Regatta Centre.
