The NEW Penrith Valley Blogspot now replaces the Penrith Valley Views Online Page.

That's right from May 1st 2009, the page you are reading will be replaced by the re-launch of our new blogspot, which will change its domain name from the elongated "www.penrithvalleyviewsinteractive.blogspot.com"  to simply www.penrithvalley.blogspot.com - the reason being that the previous name was quite a mouthful and very difficult to remember. We want as many people to look at the blog as possible, so the name change will make it easier for everyone to find and access it.

There have been some new features added which will make the blog more interactive but some things will remain the same including that it is still written (as a blogger should be) by Penrith City Council staff about a variety of City Marketing activities and initiatives. It will also feature blogs by guest contributers from the local tourism and business community .

You're also now able to leave an 'on-line' comment without having to sign up to Blogger or Google first. This will make it easier for you to leave  feedback or suggestions. There is also a "Penrith Valley Views News" section for those stories and events which don't quite fit into the more conversational 'blogger style' of entry.

The all-new Penrith Valley blogspot is now up and running - hope to see you there.
