Testimonials
Many businesses have already chosen Penrith Valley as their location of choice. Below you will find a selection of comments from key business representatives explaining some of the reasons why they made the move and choose to remain in this dynamic region.
"Supportive and flexible - lifestyle"
David Eisenhuth
Managing Director, ACO Polycrete, Emu Plains - ACO Polycrete recently relocated from Northmead to Emu Plains.
“The property on Bathurst Road met the needs our business objectives in both the short and long term. It allows us to meet our existing customer demands and has the size to meet longer term growth plans. Penrith City Council has been very supportive of our move and understands the flexibility requirements which help to ensure that manufacturing companies like ours are supported with relocations.
The Emu Plains site is very accessible to the M4 Motorway and satisfies our needs in the areas of staff driving to their new workplace. The site is ideally located for our staff and business needs and it is only an eight-minute walk from the Emu Plains railway station. The move has been a positive experience for our company…some staff are now considering moving their families to live in Penrith Valley for the lifestyle it offers.”
"Surprisingly accessible - quality of life"
Christopher Janssen
Managing Director, GPC Electronics, Penrith
"Penrith is surprisingly accessible. As a Contract Electronics Manufacturer, GPC Electronics has to balance the requirements of having proximity to a good workforce, having efficient logistics and having the infrastructure needed to support international customers. Being in Penrith has facilitated recruiting good staff, who live in Western Sydney and would prefer to travel against peak traffic. This reduces their travel time and enhances their quality of life. The nearby Freeway means that goods can move quickly. This may be from suppliers in Sydney or overseas, or to the airport or docks to ship goods out. Making a trip to Sydney is easy, and can easily be done in less than an hour. Also, Penrith has facilities to support us when we get visits from suppliers or customers from overseas.
Last year GPC Electronics suffered a fire which burnt down one of its warehouses. Recovering from this quickly required the resupply of many of the materials which were destroyed, and replanning supply to customers. It also required that a new building be set up to take over the functions of the one lost in the fire. We were contacted by Penrith Council immediately, asking what they could do to help us. Within two weeks of the fire they had given us approval to fit out and use another building."
This sort of practical support is invaluable!
"Most progressive Council in NSW"
Brian Weinert
Managing Director, Fairline Corporation
"The work the Council is doing is to be commended. I worked with Penrith City Council on Erskine Park industrial land 5 years ago and the council was very progressive. Penrith Council is in my 30 years experience in the development industry the most progressive Council in NSW."
"Penrith LGA is an ideal place to operate a business"
Paul Brennan
Managing Director, ASP Plastics, St Marys
"ASP Plastics has over the last 30 years grown to provide products, services and manufacturing expertise to contract custom moulding, healthcare and technology. A winner of four Western Sydney Industry Awards we believe that Penrith LGA is an ideal place to operate our business. Factors such as proximity to major roadways, easy access to customers and freight routes; diversity of the employment pool living in the area ranging from skilled production workers to degree qualified engineering and research professionals; access to the University of Western Sydney; excellent recreational facilities and an ability to acquire new land in an area for growth. ASP Plastics is quite determined to stay in the area!"

"Delfin Lend Lease's goal for the St Marys site is to create a community with a balance of social, economic and environmental outcomes that aligns with Penrith City Council's vision for the growth of the region.
We are excited to be part of a progressive region that is experiencing sustainable growth supported by major infrastructure works and local employment development initiatives."
